Vivek is working towards his PhD in the AMIPP center. He completed his M.S. in Material Science at Rutgers University and his undergraduate degree was in Metallurgy and Material Science from University of Pune, India. Vivek's thesis involves investigating the polymer blend morphologies and physical interactions, with an emphasis on the structural relaxations which define the glass transition of the components. Before working in polymers, he has worked on glass-ceramics and optical fiber mechanical reliability. Publications and Presentations V. Thirtha, R. Lehman, T. Nosker, "Glass Transition Phenomena In Melt-Processed Polystyrene/Polypropylene Blends", submitted for publication, September 2004 Thirtha, Vivek M.; Matthewson, M. John; Kurkjian, Charles R.; Yoon,
